coinor-libcbc-dev software package provides Coin-or branch-and-cut mixed integer programming solver (developer files), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install coinor-libcbc-dev
coinor-libcbc-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the coinor-libcbc-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep coinor-libcbc-dev *
You will get with coinor-libcbc-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
